Generating Pick Lists
Create printable pick lists for efficient order fulfilment
9 min read · Updated 2 March 2026
When you're processing multiple orders, keeping track of what needs to go where can get overwhelming fast. Evriwhere's pick list feature generates a printable PDF document that lists all the items you need to pack and ship. This guide covers everything about the pick list feature — what it is, how to generate one, and how to use it to speed up your fulfilment workflow.
What Is a Pick List?
A pick list is a PDF document generated by Evriwhere that summarises your outstanding orders in a clear, printable format. Think of it as a packing checklist: you print it out, take it to where your inventory is stored, and work through each item one by one.
Instead of switching between your phone and your packing station, you have a physical document that tells you exactly what to pick, pack, and ship.
Vinted orders only
The pick list feature is currently available for Vinted orders only. If you have orders from Depop or eBay, those won't appear on the pick list. An info banner in the app confirms: "Picklists are currently only for Vinted orders."
When to Use Pick Lists
Pick lists are most useful when:
- You have multiple Vinted orders to ship at once — Rather than opening each order individually on your phone, print the pick list and work through them all in one session
- You batch your shipping — If you prefer to pack all orders at a set time each day (e.g. every morning or evening), the pick list gives you a snapshot of everything that needs to go out
- You have a large inventory spread across different locations — The pick list helps you find and gather items efficiently before packing
- You want a physical record — Having a printed list means you can tick items off as you pack them, reducing the chance of mistakes
Generating a Pick List
Open the Sales tab
Tap the Sales tab in the bottom navigation bar to view your current orders.
Find the Pick List option
Look for the Pick List button on the Sales tab. This button is available when you have Vinted orders in the To Ship section that are ready to be packed and shipped.
Tap to generate the pick list
Tap the Create button to begin generating your PDF. Evriwhere sends a request to the server to compile all eligible Vinted orders.
Wait for generation
An animated loading indicator appears while the pick list is being generated. The server gathers all your outstanding Vinted order details and formats them into a structured PDF document.
Generation time
Pick list generation may take up to 3 minutes for large order sets. The app uses a 180-second timeout for this request. Keep the app open while the pick list is generating — the loading animation will keep you informed of progress.
View the completed pick list
Once the PDF is ready, it appears on screen. You'll see two action buttons:
- Share — Opens the iOS share sheet so you can print, save, AirDrop, or send the PDF
- Open — Opens the PDF for viewing directly
What the Pick List PDF Contains
The generated PDF is designed to give you everything you need at your packing station without needing to check your phone. Each order entry on the pick list includes:
Item details
- Item title — The name of the listing so you can identify the item in your inventory
- Item description — Key details about the item to help you locate it (size, colour, brand, etc.)
- Item image — A visual reference so you can quickly match the item to the order
Buyer information
- Buyer username — The Vinted username of the buyer
- Delivery address details — Relevant shipping information for the order
Shipping details
- Shipping method — The shipping service or carrier for the order
- Package requirements — Any size or weight specifications for the shipment
- Order reference — A reference number or ID for the order
Order organisation
The pick list organises orders in a logical sequence, making it easy to work through them from top to bottom. Each order is clearly separated so you can track your progress through the list.
Sharing and Printing
After the PDF has been generated, you can share or print it using the action buttons or the iOS share sheet.
Printing the pick list
Tap the Share button
Once the PDF is displayed, tap the Share button. This opens the iOS share sheet with all available sharing and printing options.
Select Print
In the share sheet, scroll through the options and tap Print. This opens the iOS print dialog where you can select your printer.
Choose your printer and settings
Select the printer you want to use from the list of available AirPrint printers. You can also adjust settings like:
- Number of copies — Print multiple copies if needed
- Page range — Print all pages or select specific ones
- Paper size — Usually A4 or Letter depending on your region
Tap Print to send the pick list to your printer. Collect it from the printer and take it to your packing area.
Sharing the pick list
Instead of printing, you can also share the PDF digitally:
- Save to Files — Save the PDF to your iPhone's Files app for later reference
- AirDrop — Send it to another Apple device (useful if you want to print from a Mac)
- Email — Email the pick list to yourself or a team member
- Messages — Send via iMessage or SMS
- Third-party apps — Share to any app that accepts PDF files (Google Drive, Dropbox, Notes, etc.)
Using Your Pick List Effectively
Having the pick list is only half the battle — using it efficiently is what really speeds up your workflow. Here are detailed tips for getting the most out of the feature:
Set a daily packing time
Morning pick lists
Print your pick list first thing each morning to see everything that needs shipping that day. This gives you a clear picture of your workload and lets you batch all your packing into one focused session.
Work through orders systematically
- Print the pick list at the start of your packing session
- Gather all items from your inventory using the item details and images on the list
- Pack each order one at a time, ticking it off the printed list as you go
- Mark orders as dispatched on Vinted once you've packed and posted them (Evriwhere will sync the dispatch status automatically)
- Discard the pick list once all orders are fulfilled
Organise your inventory
The pick list works best when your inventory is well-organised. If you store items by category, size, or location, the item details on the pick list help you find each item quickly. Consider:
- Labelling storage bins with categories that match your listing details
- Keeping a consistent storage system so you always know where to find items
- Photographing storage locations and noting them in item descriptions for your own reference
Handle discrepancies
If you find an item on the pick list that you can't locate in your inventory:
- Don't panic — check alternative storage locations
- If the item is genuinely missing, go back to Evriwhere and handle the order on the platform directly
- Skip that order on the pick list and come back to it
- Contact the buyer through the platform if you need to cancel or delay the order
Limitations
Vinted only
The pick list feature is specifically designed for Vinted orders. Depop and eBay orders are not included in generated pick lists. If you have orders from multiple platforms, you'll need to manage Depop and eBay orders directly through the Sales tab.
Outstanding orders only
Pick lists are generated from orders in the To Ship section. Orders that have already been dispatched or completed won't appear on the pick list.
Real-time snapshot
The pick list represents your orders at the moment it was generated. If a new Vinted order comes in after you've generated the pick list, it won't appear on the printed document. Generate a new pick list if you need to include recently received orders.
Troubleshooting
Pick list button isn't showing
If you can't see the pick list option on the Sales tab:
- Check for Vinted orders — The pick list feature only appears when you have Vinted orders in the To Ship section. If all your orders are from Depop or eBay, the button won't be visible
- Make sure Vinted is connected — Go to Settings and tap the Vinted row to verify your account is connected
- Pull to refresh — Swipe down on the Sales tab to refresh your orders
PDF generation is slow or fails
If the pick list takes a long time to generate or fails:
- Be patient — Generation can take up to 3 minutes for large order sets due to the 180-second server timeout
- Check your internet connection — The app needs to fetch order details from the server
- Try again — Close the pick list screen and tap the button again
- Restart the app — Force-close Evriwhere and reopen it
- Update Evriwhere — Make sure you're running the latest version from the App Store
Printed PDF is cut off or misformatted
If the printed pick list doesn't look right:
- Check your paper size — Make sure the printer is set to A4 or the paper size that matches your printer
- Check margins — Some printers have minimum margin requirements
- Try "Fit to Page" — If available, enable this option in the print settings to scale the PDF to your paper size
