Connecting Your Vinted Account
Link Vinted to manage and crosslist your wardrobe
11 min read · Updated 2 March 2026
Connecting your Vinted account to Evriwhere lets you crosslist items to Vinted alongside Depop and eBay, and also gives you the ability to import your existing Vinted wardrobe into Evriwhere. This guide covers the entire connection process, including how to handle Vinted's two-factor authentication (2FA), and troubleshooting common issues.
Before You Start
What you'll need
- An existing Vinted account with a verified email address
- Your Vinted login credentials (email and password, or social login)
- Access to your email or phone for potential 2FA verification
- A stable internet connection
- The latest version of Evriwhere installed on your iPhone
If you don't have a Vinted account yet, download the Vinted app from the App Store and create one first. Make sure to verify your email address and complete your profile setup before trying to connect to Evriwhere.
When to Connect Your Vinted Account
There are two opportunities to connect your Vinted account:
During Onboarding (Recommended)
When you first set up Evriwhere, the onboarding flow guides you through connecting your selling platforms at Step 5. You'll see the Connect Accounts screen with cards for Depop, eBay, and Vinted. The close button is hidden until you've connected at least one account.
If you connect Vinted during onboarding, you'll also be offered the chance to import your existing Vinted listings at Step 6 — a great way to get your items into Evriwhere without re-entering everything manually.
After Onboarding
If you skipped Vinted during onboarding or want to add it later:
- Open Evriwhere
- Tap the Settings tab
- Tap Linked Accounts
- You'll see the same Connect Accounts screen
Connecting Step by Step
Open the Connect Accounts screen
Navigate to the Connect Accounts screen either during onboarding (Step 5) or through Settings > Linked Accounts. You'll see cards for each supported platform — Depop, eBay, and Vinted — each displaying their current connection status.
Tap the Vinted card
Find the Vinted card on the Connect Accounts screen. If you haven't connected yet, it will display "Tap to Sign In" beneath the Vinted logo. Tap anywhere on the card to begin the connection process.
Sign in to Vinted
A secure web browser sheet will open within the app, loading Vinted's sign-up/login page. This is Vinted's official website — you're signing in directly with Vinted, not through Evriwhere.
On this page you can:
- Enter your email and password — Type your Vinted login credentials and tap Log in or Continue
- Use Apple Sign In — If your Vinted account is linked to your Apple ID
- Use Google Sign In — If your Vinted account is linked to your Google account
- Use Facebook Login — If your Vinted account is linked to Facebook
Choose whichever method you normally use to access Vinted and complete the sign-in.
Complete 2FA verification (if required)
Vinted may require two-factor authentication (2FA) as an extra security step. If 2FA is triggered, you'll see a verification prompt — either in the web view or through a separate sheet in Evriwhere.
Depending on your Vinted security settings, you may need to:
- Enter a code sent to your email — Check your inbox (and spam folder) for a verification code from Vinted
- Enter a code sent via SMS — Check your text messages for a code from Vinted
- Approve a push notification — If you have the Vinted app installed, you may receive a push notification to approve the login
Enter the verification code or approve the login when prompted.
Evriwhere will display a 2FA verification sheet and poll every 25 seconds to check whether you've completed the verification. Once you verify, the connection will complete automatically — you don't need to tap anything extra in Evriwhere.
Wait for authentication to complete
After you successfully sign in (and complete 2FA if required), Evriwhere securely captures the authentication session from Vinted. This happens automatically. The web browser sheet will close on its own once the connection is established.
The app checks the connection status in the background to confirm the link was successful.
Confirm the connection
Once connected, the Vinted card on the Connect Accounts screen will update to show:
- "Signed In As: [your Vinted username]" — Confirming which account is linked
- A blue checkmark icon — Indicating the connection is active and working
Your Vinted account is now linked to Evriwhere.
Import your existing listings (optional)
After connecting Vinted, you'll be offered the chance to import your existing Vinted wardrobe into Evriwhere. The import scans your Vinted listings, lets you review what was found, and then copies the items (including images) into your Evriwhere library.
If you're going through onboarding, the import screen appears as the next step. If you connected later through Settings, you can import from Settings > Vinted > Import from Vinted.
For the full import walkthrough, see our Importing from Vinted guide.
Connection successful!
When you see your Vinted username and the blue checkmark, your account is fully connected. You can now include Vinted when creating crosslisted items, and you have the option to import your existing Vinted wardrobe.
Understanding Vinted 2FA
Two-factor authentication (2FA) is an extra security layer that Vinted uses to protect your account. It's not always triggered — but it's important to know how it works so you're not caught off guard.
When does 2FA get triggered?
Vinted may require 2FA when:
- You're logging in from a new device or app (like Evriwhere)
- You haven't logged in for a while
- Vinted detects unusual login activity
- Your account has enhanced security settings enabled
How Evriwhere handles 2FA
When Vinted requires 2FA, Evriwhere will automatically open a browser sheet so you can complete the verification. Here's how it works:
- Vinted flags your account as needing verification on their servers
- Evriwhere detects this and automatically opens a Vinted sign-in sheet where you can complete verification
- In the background, Evriwhere polls every 25 seconds to check whether you've completed the verification
- Once verified, the connection completes automatically — you don't need to tap anything extra
2FA tip
Have your email app or Messages open and ready before tapping the Vinted card. If 2FA is triggered, you'll be able to complete the verification quickly without switching between apps.
What if 2FA keeps appearing?
If 2FA is triggered every time you connect or reconnect:
- This is a Vinted security feature and is normal for new connections
- Make sure your Vinted account's email and phone number are up to date
- Check that you're not accidentally declining the verification
Your Vinted Profile in Evriwhere
Once connected, you can view your Vinted profile stats in the Vinted settings page (Settings > Vinted). This includes:
- Your Vinted username — Displayed on the account card and in settings
- Followers & following — Your social stats on Vinted
- Rating & reviews — Your feedback reputation and breakdown (positive, neutral, negative)
- Items bought & sold — Your transaction history count
- Member since — When your Vinted account was created
This information is read-only and helps you keep track of your Vinted activity within Evriwhere.
Checking Your Connection Status
You can check whether your Vinted account is connected at any time:
- Open Evriwhere
- Go to Settings > Linked Accounts
- Look at the Vinted card
The card will show one of the following states:
| Status | What it means | |---|---| | "Tap to Sign In" | Not connected — tap to begin the sign-in process | | "Signed In As: [username]" with a blue checkmark | Connected and working | | 2FA verification sheet | Vinted is requiring additional verification | | Alert with "Sign In" button | Session expired — needs reconnecting |
Reconnecting After a Session Expires
Vinted sessions can expire over time. When this happens, you'll need to sign in again. This is completely normal and doesn't indicate a problem with your account.
Notice the expired session
You may see an alert in the app telling you your Vinted session has expired, or the Vinted card on the Linked Accounts screen may display a "Sign In" button instead of your username and checkmark.
Tap 'Sign In'
Tap the "Sign In" button on the alert or tap the Vinted card on the Linked Accounts screen. This opens the Vinted login page again.
Log in again
Enter your Vinted credentials just as you did during the initial connection. You may need to complete 2FA again.
Confirm reconnection
Once signed in, the Vinted card will update to show "Signed In As: [username]" with the blue checkmark. Your connection is restored and you can resume crosslisting.
Troubleshooting
"Connection failed" when trying to sign in
If the connection fails after you enter your Vinted credentials:
- Check your internet connection — Make sure you have a stable Wi-Fi or mobile data connection
- Verify your credentials — Try logging into Vinted directly in a browser or the Vinted app to confirm your login details are correct
- Check for 2FA — Vinted may be waiting for 2FA verification. Check your email or SMS for a verification code
- Check if Vinted is down — Vinted may be experiencing an outage. Try again in a few minutes
- Force-close and reopen Evriwhere — Close the app completely and try the connection again
- Update Evriwhere — Make sure you're running the latest version from the App Store
2FA verification isn't completing
If you're stuck on the 2FA verification step:
- Check your email — Look in your inbox and spam/junk folder for a Vinted verification email
- Check your SMS messages — Vinted may have sent a code via text
- Check the Vinted app — You may have a push notification or in-app prompt to approve the login
- Wait for the poll — Evriwhere polls every 25 seconds. After completing verification on Vinted's side, wait for the next poll cycle to detect it
- Restart the process — Close the 2FA sheet and tap the Vinted card again to start over
- Make sure your contact details are current — Log into Vinted directly and verify that your email address and phone number are up to date
2FA codes expire quickly
Vinted's verification codes have a limited lifespan. If you take too long to enter the code, it may expire and you'll need to request a new one. Act quickly when you receive the code.
The login page won't load
If Vinted's login page doesn't appear when you tap the card:
- Check your internet connection — The web view needs an active connection
- Restart the app — Force-close Evriwhere and reopen it
- Update Evriwhere — Ensure you have the latest version
- Restart your iPhone — A device restart can resolve web view issues
Connection keeps dropping
If your Vinted connection frequently disconnects:
- Avoid logging out of Vinted on other devices — this can invalidate sessions
- Don't change your Vinted password frequently — password changes require reconnecting
- Update both apps — Keep Evriwhere and the Vinted app up to date
- Check your Vinted account status — Make sure your account is in good standing and hasn't been restricted
I connected the wrong Vinted account
If you accidentally connected the wrong account:
- Go to Settings and tap the Vinted row
- Tap the ellipsis menu (three dots) in the top-right corner
- Tap Remove Account and confirm
- Go back to Settings > Linked Accounts and sign in again with the correct Vinted credentials
Removing Your Vinted Account
If you want to remove your Vinted account from Evriwhere:
- Open Settings
- Tap the Vinted row under your connected platforms
- Tap the ellipsis menu (three dots) in the top-right corner
- Tap Remove Account
- Confirm the removal
This removes Evriwhere's access to your Vinted account and clears the stored session. Your existing Vinted listings will remain on Vinted, but Evriwhere will no longer be able to create new listings or manage inventory on Vinted. Previously imported items will stay in your Evriwhere library.
What's Next?
Now that your Vinted account is connected, you might want to:
- Import your Vinted listings — Bring your existing wardrobe into Evriwhere
- Connect your Depop account — Add Depop to your crosslisting platforms
- Connect your eBay account — Add eBay to crosslist across all three platforms
- Create your first listing — Head to the home screen and tap + to list your first item across all connected platforms
