Importing Existing Listings from Vinted

Bring your Vinted wardrobe into Evriwhere with one tap

13 min read · Updated 2 March 2026

If you already sell on Vinted and have an existing wardrobe of listings, Evriwhere can import them directly into the app — saving you from manually re-entering every item. The import process scans your Vinted wardrobe, downloads listing data and photos, and adds them to your Evriwhere library ready for crosslisting to Depop, eBay, or both.

This guide covers the full import process, each phase, and what to expect.

Before You Start

What you'll need

  • Vinted must be connected — Your Vinted account needs to be linked to Evriwhere before you can import. See our Connecting Vinted guide if you haven't done this yet
  • A stable internet connection — importing requires downloading listing data and images from Vinted
  • Some patience for larger wardrobes — the more listings you have, the longer the import takes

Vinted only

The import feature is currently only available for Vinted. Importing from Depop or eBay is not supported at this time. If you have listings on those platforms, you'll need to create them manually in Evriwhere.

When to Import

There are two opportunities to import your Vinted listings:

During Onboarding (Recommended)

If you connect your Vinted account during Evriwhere's onboarding flow (Step 5), the app will automatically prompt you to import your existing Vinted listings at Step 6. This is the most convenient time to import because:

  • You're already in the setup flow
  • Your Vinted account was just connected, so the session is fresh
  • You can start crosslisting immediately after import completes

After Onboarding

If you skipped the import during onboarding, or if you connected Vinted later, you can import at any time:

  1. Open Evriwhere
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Tap the Vinted row under your connected platforms
  4. Tap Import from Vinted

This opens the same import flow you would have seen during onboarding.

The Import Process

The Vinted import is a multi-phase process. Evriwhere guides you through each phase automatically — you'll see the progress update in real time. Here's what happens at each stage:

Phase 1: Ready

1

Review the import information

When the import screen opens, you'll see the Ready screen with your Vinted profile picture and three information cards:

  • Images Copied — Your photos will be safely stored in Evriwhere
  • Stays Linked — Imported items will stay linked to their Vinted listings
  • Skip Duplicates — Items you've already imported will be automatically skipped

The screen also confirms: "We'll scan your Vinted wardrobe and import your active listings into Evriwhere. This won't affect your Vinted listings."

2

Tap 'Start Import'

When you're ready, tap the "Start Import" button to begin. The import will move to the scanning phase automatically.

Phase 2: Scanning

1

Evriwhere scans your Vinted wardrobe

In the Scanning phase, Evriwhere connects to your Vinted account and scans your wardrobe to find all your active listings.

During this phase, you'll see:

  • A progress indicator or animation showing the scan is in progress
  • The screen may display the number of listings found as they're discovered

How long this takes: The scanning speed depends on the size of your Vinted wardrobe and your internet connection. A wardrobe with a few dozen items typically scans in seconds, while hundreds of items may take a minute or more.

You don't need to tap anything during this phase — just wait for the scan to complete.

Phase 3: Processing

1

Evriwhere processes the found listings

In the Processing phase, Evriwhere downloads the detailed information for each listing found during the scan. This includes:

  • Listing titles and descriptions — The text content of each listing
  • Photos — All images associated with each listing
  • Pricing — The listed price for each item
  • Category and size — Item categorisation and sizing information
  • Condition — The stated condition of each item
  • Other metadata — Brand, colour, material, and any other details from your Vinted listings

You'll see a progress indicator showing how many listings have been processed out of the total found. This phase may take longer than scanning, especially if your listings have many photos.

Again, no action is needed from you during this phase — Evriwhere handles everything automatically.

Phase 4: Review

1

Review the summary

In the Review phase, Evriwhere shows you a summary of what was found:

  • "Found N items to import" — The total number of items ready to be imported
  • Duplicates skipped — Items that already exist in your Evriwhere library are automatically excluded
  • Failed items — Any items that couldn't be processed are shown separately
  • "Images will be copied to your account" — Confirming your photos will be stored
  • "Items will be linked to Vinted listings" — Confirming the Vinted connection is preserved
2

Confirm the import

Tap "Confirm Import" to proceed with importing all the found items. You can also tap Cancel to abort the import without making any changes.

Item limit on non-Business plans

If the import would bring your total item count above 75 items and you're not on the Business subscription plan, Evriwhere will show a paywall before proceeding. You can upgrade your plan to import more items, or reduce your existing inventory first.

You can always import again later

If you cancel now or add new items to Vinted in the future, you can run the import again. Items that were already imported will be automatically skipped as duplicates.

Phase 5: Confirming

1

Evriwhere creates your items

After you confirm, the Confirming phase begins. This phase has three sub-stages, each shown on screen with a progress ring and an ETA:

  1. Preparing... — A brief initial stage where the import is set up. You'll see a spinning indicator while the system gets ready
  2. Downloading Images — Evriwhere downloads all photos from your Vinted listings. You'll see a progress count (e.g., "12 of 47"), the current item's image inside the progress ring, and an estimated time remaining
  3. Creating Items — Evriwhere saves each item to your library with all its details, photos, pricing, and the link back to the original Vinted listing. The progress count and ETA continue to update

The bottom of the screen shows "Please keep the app open during the import process" — do not close the app or navigate away until the import finishes.

Phase 6: Success or Error

1

Check the result

Once the import completes, you'll see one of two outcomes:

Success:

  • A green checkmark with "Import Complete!"
  • A count of items imported (e.g., "47 items imported successfully")
  • A success haptic vibration confirming the import finished
  • Tap "Done" to close the import screen (or "Continue" if you're in the onboarding flow)

Error:

  • A red warning icon with "Import Failed" and an error message explaining what went wrong
  • A "Talk to Live Support" link that opens a live chat with the Evriwhere support team directly within the app
  • A "Try Again" button to restart the import from the beginning
  • If the import was triggered during onboarding, you'll also see a "Skip Import" option to continue without importing

What Gets Imported

When you import a Vinted listing, Evriwhere brings over the following information:

| Data | Imported? | Notes | |---|---|---| | Title | Yes | The listing title as it appears on Vinted | | Description | Yes | The full listing description | | Photos | Yes | All photos from the listing | | Price | Yes | The listed price (in your currency) | | Category | Yes | The Vinted category (e.g., Tops, Dresses) | | Size | Yes | The size as specified on Vinted | | Condition | Yes | New, Very Good, Good, Satisfactory | | Brand | Yes | If specified on the listing | | Colour | Yes | If specified on the listing | | Material | Yes | If specified on the listing | | Platform link | Yes | Evriwhere links the item to the Vinted listing |

Platform-specific fields may not transfer

Some Vinted-specific fields may not have direct equivalents on Depop or eBay. When you crosslist an imported item to another platform, Evriwhere will map the data as closely as possible and let you fill in any additional platform-specific fields.

After Importing

Finding your imported items

All imported items appear in your Items tab in Evriwhere. They'll be mixed in with any items you've created manually. Each imported item will show:

  • The Vinted listing photos
  • The title and price
  • A Vinted platform indicator showing the item is linked to your Vinted account

Crosslisting imported items

The main reason to import is so you can crosslist these items to other platforms. To crosslist an imported Vinted item:

  1. Open the item from your Items tab
  2. Tap to add additional platforms (Depop, eBay, or both)
  3. Review and adjust any platform-specific details
  4. Post the listing to the additional platforms

Evriwhere will use the imported data to pre-fill the listings on other platforms, saving you significant time.

Editing imported items

You can edit any imported item in Evriwhere just like you would a manually created item:

  • Change the title, description, or price
  • Add or remove photos
  • Update sizes, conditions, or categories
  • Adjust platform-specific details

Edits in Evriwhere don't sync back to Vinted automatically

If you edit an imported item's details in Evriwhere, those changes apply within Evriwhere and to any new crosslistings you create. To update the original Vinted listing, you'll need to make those changes on Vinted separately (or use Evriwhere's edit and sync features if available for your listing).

Troubleshooting

Import fails with an error

If the import process fails:

  1. Check your internet connection — A stable connection is needed throughout the entire import
  2. Check your Vinted connection — Go to Settings > Vinted and verify your account shows as connected. If not, reconnect your account
  3. Retry the import — Close the import screen and start the process again from Settings > Vinted > Import from Vinted
  4. Use the live support chat — On the error screen, tap "Talk to Live Support" to get help from the Evriwhere team
  5. Update Evriwhere — Make sure you're on the latest version of the app

Import is stuck on Scanning or Processing

If the import seems frozen on one of the earlier phases:

  1. Wait a bit longer — Large wardrobes with many photos can take several minutes to scan and process
  2. Check your connection — A slow or unstable connection can cause long processing times
  3. Close and retry — If it's been more than 5 minutes with no progress, close the import screen and try again
  4. Restart the app — Force-close Evriwhere and reopen it, then retry the import

Some items are missing from the review list

If not all your Vinted listings appear in the Review phase:

  • Sold items are excluded — Items marked as sold on Vinted are not imported
  • Reserved items — Items currently reserved may be excluded
  • Hidden or paused listings — Listings that are hidden or paused on Vinted may not appear
  • Very recent listings — Items listed very recently may take a moment to appear in Vinted's system

Imported items have missing information

If some details are missing from imported items:

  • Photos didn't download — This can happen with network issues. Try editing the item and re-downloading photos, or delete and re-import the item
  • Missing category or size — Some Vinted categories may not map perfectly to Evriwhere's system. You can manually set these fields
  • Description is empty — If the original Vinted listing had no description, it will be blank in Evriwhere too

I accidentally imported items I didn't want

If you imported items you'd rather not have in Evriwhere:

  1. Go to the Items tab
  2. Find the item you want to remove
  3. Delete it from Evriwhere

Deleting an item from Evriwhere does not delete it from Vinted. Your original Vinted listing remains untouched.

Can I re-import items?

Yes. If you run the import process again, Evriwhere will recognise items that were already imported and only show new or previously skipped items. This means you can:

  • Import in multiple batches
  • Pick up items you skipped the first time
  • Import new items you've listed on Vinted since the last import

Common Questions

Does importing affect my Vinted listings?

No. Importing is a read-only operation. It copies data from your Vinted listings into Evriwhere — it doesn't modify, move, or delete anything on Vinted. Your Vinted wardrobe remains exactly as it was.

Can I import from Depop or eBay?

Not currently. The import feature is only available for Vinted at this time. Listings on Depop or eBay need to be created manually in Evriwhere. We're always working on new features, so this may change in the future.

How long does the import take?

Import times vary based on:

  • Number of listings — More items means more time
  • Number of photos — Listings with many photos take longer to process
  • Internet speed — A faster connection speeds up photo downloads

As a rough guide:

  • 10-20 items: Under a minute
  • 50-100 items: 1-3 minutes
  • 200+ items: 5-10 minutes or more

Will crosslisting create duplicates on Vinted?

No. When you crosslist an imported Vinted item to Depop or eBay, Evriwhere knows the item already exists on Vinted and only creates new listings on the additional platforms. It won't create a duplicate Vinted listing.

What happens if I delete an imported item?

Deleting an imported item from Evriwhere:

  • Removes it from your Evriwhere library — The item will no longer appear in your Items tab
  • Does NOT delete it from Vinted — Your original Vinted listing is unaffected
  • Removes crosslistings — If you crosslisted the item to Depop or eBay through Evriwhere, those crosslistings may also be affected (depending on how they were created)

Summary

Importing from Vinted is a straightforward, multi-phase process:

  1. Ready — Review what will be imported and tap "Start Import"
  2. Scanning — Evriwhere scans your Vinted wardrobe
  3. Processing — Listing details and photos are downloaded
  4. Review — See a summary of items found and tap "Confirm Import"
  5. Confirming — Images are downloaded and items are created in your library
  6. Success/Error — See the result and count of imported items

Once imported, your Vinted items appear in the Items tab and are ready to be crosslisted to Depop, eBay, or both — saving you hours of manual data entry.
