Linking Your Selling Accounts

Connect your marketplaces to unlock the full power of crosslisting

5 min readLast updated: 14 January 2026

To list items across multiple platforms with a single tap, Evriwhere needs permission to post on your behalf. This guide explains why account linking is necessary and walks you through connecting each marketplace.

Why You Need to Link Your Accounts

Account linking enables the magic

Linking your marketplace accounts allows Evriwhere to:

  • Post listings on your behalf across all connected platforms
  • Sync your inventory automatically when items sell
  • Remove sold items from other platforms to prevent double sales
  • Import existing listings so you can manage everything in one place

Without linked accounts, you'd still need to manually copy and paste listings to each platform — defeating the purpose of a crosslisting app!

Is it safe?

Absolutely. Here's how we keep your accounts secure:

  • We never store your passwords — We use official platform authentication (OAuth) where available
  • You can revoke access anytime — Disconnect an account from Evriwhere whenever you want
  • Encrypted connections — All data is transmitted securely using industry-standard encryption
  • We only request necessary permissions — We ask for the minimum access needed to list and manage items

Connecting Your Accounts

Navigate to Settings > Connected Accounts in the Evriwhere app to begin. You'll see a list of supported marketplaces with their connection status.

Connecting Vinted

1

Tap on Vinted

In the Connected Accounts screen, find Vinted in the list and tap Connect.

2

Log in to Vinted

You'll be redirected to Vinted's login page. Enter your Vinted email and password. If you use social login (Google, Facebook, Apple), tap the appropriate button.

3

Authorise Evriwhere

Vinted will ask you to confirm that you want to allow Evriwhere to access your account. Review the permissions and tap Allow or Authorise.

4

Confirm the connection

You'll be returned to Evriwhere, and you should see a green checkmark next to Vinted indicating a successful connection.

Vinted tip

Make sure your Vinted account is in good standing before connecting. Accounts with restrictions may have limited functionality.

Connecting Depop

1

Tap on Depop

In the Connected Accounts screen, find Depop and tap Connect.

2

Log in to Depop

Enter your Depop username and password on the login screen that appears.

3

Complete verification

Depop may send a verification code to your email or phone. Enter this code when prompted.

4

Grant permissions

Allow Evriwhere to access your Depop account for listing and inventory management.

Connecting eBay

1

Tap on eBay

Find eBay in your Connected Accounts list and tap Connect.

2

Sign in to eBay

You'll be taken to eBay's official sign-in page. Enter your eBay credentials or use your linked Google/Facebook/Apple account.

3

Review permissions

eBay will show you exactly what Evriwhere is requesting access to. This includes creating listings, managing inventory, and viewing your seller information.

4

Agree and link

Tap I Agree to complete the connection. eBay uses OAuth, which means Evriwhere never sees your eBay password.

eBay seller account required

You need an active eBay seller account to connect. If you haven't sold on eBay before, you may need to complete eBay's seller registration first.

Managing Connected Accounts

Viewing connection status

Each connected account shows its status in the Connected Accounts screen:

  • Green checkmark — Connected and working
  • Yellow warning — Connection needs attention (e.g., re-authentication required)
  • Red X — Disconnected or error

Re-authenticating an account

Sometimes platforms require you to re-authenticate, especially if:

  • You changed your password
  • The platform updated their security
  • Your session expired

Simply tap on the account and follow the login process again.

Disconnecting an account

To remove a connected account:

1

Go to Connected Accounts

Open Settings > Connected Accounts in the Evriwhere app.

2

Tap the account

Select the marketplace you want to disconnect.

3

Tap Disconnect

Scroll down and tap the Disconnect button. Confirm when prompted.

What happens when you disconnect?

Disconnecting an account removes Evriwhere's access to that platform. Your existing listings on that platform will remain, but Evriwhere can no longer post new items or sync inventory for that account.

Troubleshooting

"Connection failed" error

  1. Check your internet connection
  2. Make sure you're entering the correct login details
  3. Try logging into the platform directly in your browser to verify your account is active
  4. Wait a few minutes and try again — the platform may be experiencing issues

Account keeps disconnecting

This usually happens when:

  • You changed your password on the platform
  • The platform's security policies required re-authentication
  • There was a temporary API issue

Simply reconnect the account to resolve this.

"Insufficient permissions" message

Make sure you grant all requested permissions when connecting. Some features won't work without full access. Disconnect and reconnect the account, ensuring you tap "Allow" on all permission requests.

All connected?
